Between the rows of books

September 26: Anthony Hawley, Nate Pritts and Laura Sims

Anthony Hawley grew up in New England and was educated at Columbia University. He is the author The Concerto Form (2006) and the chapbooks "Afield" (Ugly Duckling Presse) and "Vocative" (Phylum Press). His poems have appeared in various publications including Denver Quarterly, The New Republic, The Paris Review, 26, and Volt. He currently lives in Nebraska.

Nate Pritts is the author of two full length books of poetry - Sensational Spectacular and Honorary Astronaut - with a third, The Wonderfull Yeare, due out in early 2010. The founder & editor of H_NGM_N, Nate teaches poetry for the Downtown Writers Center/YMCA in Syracuse, NY.

Laura Sims is the author of two books of poems: Practice, Restraint, (winner of the 2005 Fence Books Alberta Prize), and Stranger (Fence Books, 2009). She is a co-curator of the Segue Series @ Bowery Poetry Club, a co-editor of Instance Press, and a lecturer at Baruch College. She lives in Brooklyn, New York
